April Pond and Nick Clegg are fighting to clean up Westminster

The MPs' expenses scandal has shown how out-of-touch some MPs are from real people and the issues they face in real life especially in the current recession.

Local people are now asking themselves who is best placed to clean up Westminster ahead of Thursday's by-election.

The Conservative candidate has spent much of her working life in Westminster working for Conservative MPs. Many Norwich North residents are asking whether she has the real life experience to be the strong independent voice they need to represent them.

The Labour candidate in the by-election has also come under fire when it was revealed he lives only 10 minutes walk from Westminster on an exclusive London street.

Many local people are switching to back the Liberal Democrat candidate April Pond. Her mix of real life experience and straight-talking has made a real impression on much of the Norwich North electorate.

She looks set to beat the Labour Party candidate on Thursday 23rd July.
